Ice king
My child had never put on ice skates before today, and he did great! Abby attempted to scare him by telling him about the bruises and other injuries suffered by a boy in her class who went ice skating (maybe he plays hockey???) Anyway, he pulled out the infamous "stomach ache" this morning, but I told him it would be best to face his fears. And he was AWESOME! Not sure if he'd agree to lessons, but for a child who has never done this, he sure was good and he liked it!

He looks like he's having so much fun! Jack is obsessed with hockey lately. Another reason it's too bad we don't live closer to each other. We could take them skating together!
Ryker is my ice skater!!! In case you didn't know it, I've always wanted one of my grandchildren to be a professional ice skater. I kind of figured it would be a grand daughter but I was blessed with less than graceful (let's confess, they are klutzy and klutzier) grand daughters. So, just maybe my ice skater is Ryker. Sign him up for those lessons. If nothing else, maybe he can play hockey!! :-)
